Pro Procrastinator

Procrastination Over Everything

Many may believe that procrastination is a negative quality for one to have; but personally I've always thought that it is more of a perfected skill, well if you're good at it that is. Anyone can just not do work that needs to be done...but what separates the rookies from the prestigious pros is dedication. Sure a pro will not do the work, same as any rookie, putting it off til the night before or maybe even the morning it's due, but what makes you a rookie is the execution. If you're going to procrastinate a six page research paper til the night before know what is to come.
First of all you're not going to start til comfortable night fall, so roughly ten---eleven o'clock, if you start any earlier you will be staring at the computer for eight hours; so just don't do it. I promise you will be tricking yourself into thinking progress is being made when in reality, all you've done is wasted time that could be spent on event you actually enjoy. Quick point --- if you're going to procrastinate be doing something that you can either justify as more important (cleaning ---- playing with a pet), or that can be bragged about later in time. You can not put off work because you felt staring at walls was more important.
Second of all you will be up all night --- caffeine and cartoons are necessities. You may be thinking, "Aren't cartoons distracting?"...  FALSE.... See! rookie mistake. The cartoons will keep your mind constantly working, if you try to stay up all night in the silence --- you will wake up with keys stuck to your forehead. Also manage your time, varying subjects, longest first taking breaks with the small stuff. As for caffeine ---- you don't even have to go crazy about it, honestly I feel that a lot of our caffeine dependance is psychological ---- we feel we're supposed to be wide awake due to the intake of said products, so we trick ourselves into believing it.
If you follow these rules you can flawlessly execute any procrastinated duty. Once these skills are mastered you will find yourself with an ample amount of time, this can now be wasted on good times. With all your extra time the possibilities are endless: going on a mid day road trip, researching all the "haunted" spots in your city ---- and visiting them, or maybe even creating a blog (you can justify writing as educational).

So go out you crazy kids! Live life and procrastinate the s*** out of that research paper.... or final...
